Racism is alive and well in the UK. I never posted about the time when a group of boys started talking in exaggerated (supposedly Indian) accents, or when a group of girls ran past me in a shopping centre making whooping noises. (I think they got themselves mixed up between American Indians and South-east Asian Indians.) One was in Nottingham, the other in Durham.

That second one was so incredibly racist it took a while to register. Like, did you honestly just do that? What sort of person does that?
