I walked down to town today to buy my friend's daughter a Christmas present. Her husband is English (even if he has been living in the States long enough to no longer have an accent), so I thought it'd be good to get her a couple of typically English children's books. If forced at gunpoint I'd say my fav WW character was Toby. There was a lot of subtle complexity going on there. Also, I once took a 50 question test on which WW character I was most like and scored as 98% Toby; and one of the questions was what gender are you. So one feels one should represent, as it were.

I might have to go with Toby ultimately, if only because he's so hilarious when he's pissed off.

Yeah, I totally sympathise about West Wing. My favourite character is JedLeoTobyJoshCJ and I'm pretty sure Will would be in there too if I'd actually seen S4+ recently. If you twisted my arm, it'd probably be Jed. Um, JedLeo. Okay, JedLeoToby.

Yeah, if I've been watching seasons 1 through 3, then Sam's higher up there, but my love for Josh Malina is undeniable.
