Fic - A Second Chance.

This is the fic I have written for who_otp Rare Ships Month. It's Martha Jones/Tom Milligan, (whom, since I decided to write this fic have since become canon, hurrah). I've written an explanation on why I ship them hereTo me at least, their relationship is still under-represented in fic and fandom generally, so this is my contribution to changing that. It's nice to find a fic that really explores the Martha/Tom relationship. I like how you added Jack into the mix - he'd definitely want to be in on this. I could see Martha's lingering need to keep in contact with her old life and Jack would be the perfect person for that. Since the show refuses to explore Martha's relationship with Tom, I'm taking this as my personal canon. Thanks for writing this!

Yay! THIS WAS AWESOME AND HOT AND I LOVE THEM AND THIS AND YOU. Her last conversation with Jack was hysterical. Fantastic - totally bookmarking. :D

Wow, like some of the people commented before me, I hesistated on reading this at first due to me not being entirely convinced by the Martha/Tom relationship as it was presented on the show. This fic worked wonderfully to fill in those nagging gaps though and now I am really growing to appreciate the two of them as a pair. Thanks for this! :)

Thank you. :) I think I'm hesitant because I'm not an experienced fic writer, but also as you said, Martha/Tom doesn't come naturally to a lot of people, so I didn't think people would be open to the idea, so I'm really pleased to see people have been open-minded about it. :)
