This week has been a whirlwind -- but in a good way! As I'd mentioned, I finished my working week a bit sooner than usual, on Thursday at noon to be precise and I went to Prague to meet up with an old friend of mine who managed to get a hold of two tickets for a live broadcast of Hamlet. NT live screenings alone are the reason why I love the NT so much. It has affordable tickets for great seats, it takes performances on tour and it makes them accessible via cinemas all over the world. Places like that are the reason why I wanted to work in the sector - make arts and culture accessible!

Exactly, it's such a fantastic idea!

My sister saw Frankenstein some time ago and she wasn't impressed, she said that it felt too much like a film in a cinema to her. I have to say I didn't feel like it at all. It sitll had the charm of a theatre performance and I really loved that.
