Weasleys?

Anyone about? It's just that we've had a bad patch at work, and then Elle got very busy, and I suddenly thought, wait a minute, I haven't spoken to any of you in weeks. Or months. Or years, but that's just Percy.

You make it sound like we're actually supposed to keep in touch with family?

Yeah, what fun is that?

Point.

I was just thinking of the two of you the other day, though. Sirius and Remus have this little girl, you know, and Sirius' younger brother got her hair all tangled up in toffees, and it reminded me of you and Ginny that time.

Sirius and Remus have a little girl?!?

Where did they buy her? I want one too!

Now there's a thought to make brave men weep.

Yeah, of course we know about Sirius and Remus's daughter!

And I thought we said we weren't speaking about Ginny and sticky candy ever again?

Depends what you mean by we, of course. I don't recall ever telling you I'd not mention Ginny and the Exploding Humbugs.

I'm reasonably sure it's just been weeks, dear, we saw you when you came by to drop of the manure ... wait, perhaps that was more than four weeks ago. And it's been even longer since Elle's come by. Would you both like to come for dinner this weekend? Of course, you know you can drop by any time dear, no need to wait for an invitation.

Thanks Mum. We might be able to come by on the Sunday, but I don't know - we were going to go away on the weekend, but then Elle said she has some big mysterious project at work that she can't talk about, so now we're staying in town, so we might be free on Sunday, but then we might not.

Perhaps I'd best ask Elle -if- when I see her tonight.
