Weasleys?

Anyone about? It's just that we've had a bad patch at work, and then Elle got very busy, and I suddenly thought, wait a minute, I haven't spoken to any of you in weeks. Or months. Or years, but that's just Percy.

You make it sound like we're actually supposed to keep in touch with family?

Yeah, what fun is that?

Point.

I was just thinking of the two of you the other day, though. Sirius and Remus have this little girl, you know, and Sirius' younger brother got her hair all tangled up in toffees, and it reminded me of you and Ginny that time.

Sirius and Remus have a little girl?!?

Where did they buy her? I want one too!

Now there's a thought to make brave men weep.

Yeah, of course we know about Sirius and Remus's daughter!

And I thought we said we weren't speaking about Ginny and sticky candy ever again?

Depends what you mean by we, of course. I don't recall ever telling you I'd not mention Ginny and the Exploding Humbugs.

And by the way now that I write it out that way doesn't that sound like a muggle music group? And not a very good one either. Ginny and the Exploding Humbugs that is. Hah!

Hmm. Thinking of a new career, there, Charlie?

I'm feeling lazy--make up your own joke about Charlie dealing with animals every day, comma, no changes in.

No, I like my job just fine, thanks. Not too noisy unless the hippogriffs start roaring, and the only kind of crap I have to deal with is real crap, which is so much simpler than most kinds of workplace crap.

Things all right at the shop, then?

Things are great at the shop!

Making LOADS of money. One of the goblins voluntarily said my name yesterday!

They always say mine. But they like me.

Well, girls like me, so there!

Right, because that's something I care about!

That's good then. But are you liking it? The work, I mean? Money aside?

We make things explode for a living.

Doesn't that answer it all?

Point again.

I don't know. I was just -arguing with- talking to Elle this afternoon about it this afternoon when she told me she was going to have to work all weekend even though we'd be thinking of going away -- I mean, is your job supposed to be that much to you? Or is it just a job? You know?

Well, we're in the shop most of the time when it's open, and often when it isn't--reseach, you know, and casting the really hard charm.s

But if we had a big strapping young man like you to go away to....

I do have one!

You do?

Yes, that's where I'm going tonight.

Man, I want one too, only female...

All right, that's getting a bit disturbing. Should have known better than to ask you two about anything halfway serious. Anyway your strapping brother is Bill, or maybe Ron, but certainly not me. All that charms work must be messing up your memories ...

Well, if you have no straps, how do you keep the animals where you want them?

Useful things, straps.

Anyway, Charlie, we'd best be off.

Sex tonight! Yay!

...Oh look, he's blushing!

Have a lovely time, the two of you. And don't do anything I wouldn't do.
