I'm sorry you had to stand for most of the trip there. Sometimes, when I am on a crowded train, someone younger will see me with my cane and give me their seat.
I feel good about this and always thank them.
It was I who would have given up my seat 35 years ago, and I always did.
The photos are lovely, especially so! There are some flowers in your photos that I have never seen before!
I know how emotional it can be to scatter the ashes of a loved one. HUGE HUGS!
I must add that the desert tray looks very enticing! :)
I grew up a stones throw from there and spent many hours playing in the surrounding woods and at Birk Crag nearby. Later, when I returned once or twice for a visit I also managed to have sex with a number of men after dark.
