On the Monday morning before travelling back to London, we stopped at the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, which I had admired passing in the car in the past.

After a very full day on Friday, we didn't do much the rest of the week-end.

We stayed with Stephen and Peter until Sunday morning: on Sat we went for a walk with Bertie, their lovely dog, down to the river (and it was very windy indeed) and then Stephen took us to a disused RAF base in Lincolnshire that now houses a few antiques stores ( Read more... )
