LoL, that's pretty much how people react here in PA, usa, when even just a half inch of snow is predicted!

How much snow are you getting there?

Over the country as a whole I think it's bee 1 to 6 inches, but with drifting due to the wind.... It's now slightly thawed but will be turning to ice real soon !

Indeed it is, and to walk on ! As one gets older, so it gets a bit more nerve-racking on foot ! ;-)

It snowed some more but has thawed ever so slightly today....

"The winter surprised us" was such a routine excuse of the authorities here for not coping with the snow on the roads that it became a joke, part of the modern Bulgarian folklore. :)

Yes, here too !! I wonder if they think that once it becomes a bit of a joke people just end up accepting it more........ rather than getting angry ;-)
