I am wrong every time when i try to guess where LoMo is going with a story but here is my thought -- the house was supposed to be a safe haven for whoever needed it -- two people in it made it go wonkey -- but I think the house dissolved itself because it was the only way it could protect Harry from Draco -- it interpreted Draco's slapping Harry as the act of an enemy.
Umm I don't think so -- I don't think Draco wanted to leave the house -- its why he slapped Harry -- he wants to stay in the nice safe little bubble (whether or not he is in within the actual confines of the house) and he acted out his frustration by slapping Harry.
Yes. Notice how it house didn't crumble right after the slap. It waited for Harry to be positively disgusted with Draco and Draco positively disgusted with himself to disappear.
No, Draco wanted to stay because he would have had more of a chance of persuading Harry that way; the longer they spent in there, the more Harry might have decided that his feelings were real.
