Well nothing makes sense now! D:

That was intense, and then you just...ended it there! I was starring at the screen with my mouth slightly open for a few seconds after.

Awesome chapter! I'm excited about what happens next. I thought Harry was too harsh, like he doesn't believe how serious what they have is for Draco. I know Draco was asking a bit too much, but he was somewhat desperate and seemed heartbroken, and now his pride is damaged and its gonna be a while before he opens up again.

I am with Harry on this one. Like he said, Draco might have admired Harry from afar, but Harry hadn't given him a second thought and but for the house/potion fuck up wouldn't have given him a second thought.

Draco wasn't asking a bit much -- he was asking for fuck all everything -- which is why I am not really liking Draco in this story -- which is okay, because I don't really like the House either and I see the House as Draco's alter ego.

LoMo -- I love this and can't wait to see what happens next.

I know Harry hadn't taught about Draco in that way, but he doesn't have to mention it so callously to his face. I know that Draco was being unreasonable, but I think its really plain to see that he was a bit distraught because Harry wouldn't acknowledge him or what happened between them in any way; Harry is quite smitten but it's like he's thinking the Malfoy he knows outside and this Malfoy he's gotten along with are different people.

I think you are right -- he probably does think of them as two different people -- but i think he thinks of himself that way too -- remember in the last chapter how he kept going on about how he wanted to know what he had with Malfoy was real? I think Harry wants to see what happens between the two of them outside the House.

Callous? Maybe. Draco unreasonable -- definitely. :)

Has the house given up ? When Draco slapped Harry, it was a sign that the love affair had reached an impasse, or perhaps something even more drastic. But the truth will out. The house is finished with them.

The house is, yes. They may not be finished with each other.

Reading this chapter at first I was getting pretty irked. For starters, Harry seemed to be drugged by the house. The affections were sweet on the surface, but they felt wrong. Draco's felt worse. But it got me thinking. Harry was the one punished by the house, and Draco always seemed to guess what the house would do next (and the house would do it). The House shut Harry up because Draco told him to "Listen." I hope it was affecting Draco hardcore. He was scary clingy by the end of this chapter, and in combination with the cliffhanger, something seemed off. I feel like it took Draco's wish for friendship with Harry and started affecting Draco. Great chapter, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next one.

Everything about the house was definitely an artificial environment. Harry and Draco probably never would have had sex without it, and Draco would never have dared to come that close. It remains to be seen if they can sustain a working relationship outside the house.

The truth is that Draco can´t expect Harry to be attached to him only because he took Harry´s virginity... And he can´t isolate him from his friends only because he wants, nobody ho loves someone do this. Draco always was obsessed with Harry, and tried to own him. In this story particularly I think Draco desired Harry since the beggining, and lied when he said the sex was casual. Harry really wasn´t prepared for the sex, even more to attach himself to someone, in his case he would say to love or care for Draco, it takes time. And to be in an ilusion made by magic could confuse your feelings, it feeds his fears (he could use it to hide his homosexuality, for example), but he have the courage to get out of this safe house, this ilusion, to see what happens. Draco don´t because he thinks it will disappears when he is out, so if he could he perhaps would trap Harry there.. I really want to know what happens know, it´s a good story, really! :) And don´t make it short please, I really like how U portraied this couple... : )

Draco did lie when he said the sex was casual to him. The main reason he did that was that he thought Harry would otherwise never come near him at all. He thought Harry would come to care for him, too, and then he wouldn't mind having a permanent relationship.

But it didn't work that way. And you're right, Harry might have been tempted to hide in the house, or pretend that what happened there didn't matter if they had escaped a normal way, but then this- he does think, sort of it, that it matters, but he and Draco are going to disagree a lot on how.
