Amazing. Simply amazing, brilliant in fact. The way everything fits together makes perfect sense and nothing feels wrong about it. I picked up this story of ours a bit late and read 1-8 right now. I absolutely love it. Slytherin-like Harry, Lovestruck-and-sick Draco, Power hungry Dumbledore, and more of all Snape in all his clever and observant glory. It's so deliciously ironic that every in this world occurred from what our Harry would have considered a 'perfect' childhood/life.
It stuck a chord with me how Harry treasures that world's Harry's items when in a way he should hate that Harry most of all. Lovely story and I can't wait for more.

Thank you! I'm glad that you like the characterization of Draco, as I know that a few people are irritated by it.

Harry might be jealous of that other Harry, but it would be hard to hate him. He didn't authorize this, after all.

In a way Draco makes perfect sense. He bothers me a bit, but how can anyone be fully sane after someone they love was taken from them. Especially when they don't allow their wounds to heal and pour salt in their own wounds.

It would be hard for Harry to hate me, I on the other might be different.

I started to read this then realised I'd missed chapter six so there were two to read -bonus! I'm looking forward to Harry figuring out the code now and also I really want the order to get their comeuppance!
This is awesome as usual :)

Thank you! He may have to have help to figure out the code, though.

I really do love this story. One of the previous reviewers mentioned being exhausted by the Order members right now. What a perfect way of expressing the feel of the chapter. Their delusions are exhausting, yet Harry has to find a way to keep going. I am very much enjoying the subtle look at how and why our Harry turned out so different from the other Slytherin Harrys. I also can't wait for Harry to translate the diary.

Thank you!

I'm enjoying the chance to do a Harry who's not Slytherin and yet still strong. Too often, I think a lot of people equate being in Slytherin to actually having all the advantages one could wish for, which is a bit silly.

Yes. Snape thinks about it, but he has so many other things to do, and none of what he has tried in the past seems to help Draco at all.

Was Snape intending to go to Voldemort's side? That is what it sounded like here. I liked that you added the photo album. Its much different than the one our Harry carried around so it really just capitalizes the differences. I'm glad that Harry kept the wand a secret. Really loving this story so far.

No. Why? He didn't want to go to Voldemort, just use Dark spells that would have found Harry but which the other Order members would have objected to.

Thank you!

Albus’s lips twitched once. “If you come to him not as a friend, but as a reluctant ally, agreeing with him, turning against me in secret…”

The way that I already am? Severus would have to spend some time in his rooms that evening, puzzling out all the layers of deception here and laughing at the irony. Now was not a time for laughter.

The way this was written suggested that to me is all.
