I tried to use TWD to overcome my near-phobia of zombies, but it didn't work, so I had to stop watching.
If memory serves, Andrea is the one who had to shoot her own sister in the head, then was talked out of suicide by Dale, the wild-eyed older guy, right? If she's that one, her hair-trigger temper made sense to me.
I don't know if the really short-haired woman - Carol? - is still around. I'd read criticisms of her, too, usually about her being the Damsel in Distress sort, but then, she was also in a very abusive marriage and had had her spirit broken long before the walkers showed up. Oh, and she was finally reunited with her Carl's-age girl - who was now undead.
Me? I hated Shane, Herschel, and started really disliking Carl before I stopped watching, so you could label me a Man-Hatuh if you like.
