Lenna was working the reception desk as always. It was such a shame that the new exhibit had been put on hold due to technical difficulties with the photos taken. She knew that it would open as soon as it could, she just had to be patient. She was self-editing her paper on the different elements of photography due tomorrow when a visitor had walked through the door. Lenna looked up to see a confused man standing at the entrance of the museum and smiled at him warmly.

"Welcome to the Museum of Contemporary Art! How may I help you?"

"Hola!" Antonio beamed widely as he caught sight of the young worker and walked up to the counter. The spanish man leaned on the desk, resting his forearms on the cool surface. He looked around again before focusing on the worker.

"I'm meeting Roderich Edelstein for a tour" He said with a small dip of his head. His curly brown hair falling just above his eyes. He folded his hands together lightly on the counter, his thumbs resting on top of one another.

"Mr. Edelstein?" Lenna asked. She didn't know that Roderich was giving out personal tours. Maybe he's a good friend? Whatever the case was, Lenna stood to lead the man to Roderich's office. "Right this way then."

As Lenna led the Spanish man down the hall, she introduced herself. "I'm Lenna Segur, it's a pleasure to meet of a friend of Mr. Edelstein's."

Antonio smiled happily, slipping his thumbs into the loops of his pants. He then fallowed Lenna down the hall at a slow, lazy pace.

"Its nice to meet you Lenna. I'm Antonio Corriedo" he introduced himself with another dip of his head. He tilted his head to the side lightly and heard the satisfying pop before righting it again. He fell into silence however as he passed some of the exhibits on either side of him. His gaze locking on each of them quickly but not stopping should he loose his guide.

Fashionably Late Entrance... and at the wrong place! notaustralian July 26 2009, 05:24:33 UTC
Roderich glanced up from the long glass table where a pot of tea, a pot of coffee, and a plate of cakes sat ready to be served. He checked the time and gasped when he realized he was running late to meet Antonio. He couldn't help it that he took almost half an hour arranging the cakes on the plate. He couldn't decide on if he wanted to arrange them back into a circular cake shape or not. It was a tough choice ( ... )

Wrong place... ribbonlily July 26 2009, 05:51:08 UTC
"It's nice to meet you Antonio." Lenna pondered on his name and wondered what country he was from since there were too many Spanish speaking countries in the world for to think about. They arrived at Roderich's office, and she knocked. After a few minutes of silence, Lenna realized that he was probably out at the entrance waiting for Antonio.

"I-I'm sorry, but it seems that he's not in his office at the moment. Do you mind coming back with me to the entrance?" She couldn't believe that she had just wasted minutes of his time! She just hoped that wherever her boss was, he wouldn't move from that area.

Antonio waited patiently behind the young girl, watching her knock with a smile. "Its nice to meet you too Lenna" He added as they waited. When they realized that they were in the wrong place Antonio let out a small chuckle and nodded. He wondered if they were going to start a game of 'lets see if you can find me'. He really didn't want to but it had happened to him before.

"Thats no problem at all" the easy going spaniard smiled reassuringly at the young girl. It wasn't like he really had any place to go. He had no other plans for the day and so didn't mind wasting time. He then fallowed the young girl back the way they had come, back to the front entrance.

Lenna was once again feeling an awkward atmosphere creep upon them as they made their way back from where they came. She really hoped Roderich was at the entrance; she felt bad by wasting people's time. She glanced again at the man next to her, hoping that the lack of conversation wasn't making the situation any worse.

She quickly asked a question on the spot (and out of curiousity too), "Um, where are you from?"

Roderich glanced to the clock on the computer screen. Antonio was running late, and from what he knew about the man... he didn't know if that was normal. He shifted his legs and uncrossed his arms over his chest. He wasn't in a hurry; but he was starting to worry about Antonio. Maybe the poor Spaniard, like himself, got lost on the way to the museum.

Then again, the museum was pretty huge and it was hard to miss.

He sighed and pushed himself off the desk. He adjusted his cravat as he made his way out of the museum. He glanced around, looking for a sign of his new friend.

Nope. No Antonio so far.

He walked down the steps and looked at the street. Maybe if he stood here, Antonio would be able to spot him easier.

Kim stood outside the museum. She tilted her head.
" I've lived here for almost nine years and haven't set foot in there...." she muttered, before walking inside to see if she could find Roderich and Antonio. Tea sounded good. Very good.

Antonio nodded, watching the austrian man look around. He honestly couldn't figure out what the man was looking for. Though he didn't believe that he was looking for which exhibit to visit next. Instead he just let it drop and payed attention to the man's question.

"We could stop for tea. That sounds good to me" Antonio smiled widely and slipping his hands into his back pockets. The spaniard shifted his weight from leg to leg patiently. He hummed a soft tune to himself while he waited for Roderich to lead them on again. After all, it would be rude to just walk away when he was supposed to be on a tour.

Holy lotus flower... This museum was bigger than she thought.
Was she supposed to wait for them here or go find them? She sighed, and walked further in, hoping to spot them.

Lenna breathed a sigh of relief as she stretched from where she was sitting. With her paper finally done, she was free for the rest of the day. She checked the time, wondering if her boss had gotten himself lost again. For some strange reason, he just didn't know where was going all the time. Well unless he shouted, Lenna quite comfortable just sitting at the reception desk.

She suddenly heard the door open and in walked a wonderful surprise. "Kim?"

WE'LL MISS YOU, LENNA! ;A; notaustralian July 27 2009, 23:16:22 UTC
((OOC: Spain-mun says she should have wifi tonight. 8DD))

Roderich checked himself. Aside from being a little sweaty, he felt quite alright. Though the firefighters did insist that they go to the hospital for a check-up, as well, as psychological counseling. And they were already sending an ambulance here.

He didn't think being trapped in an elevator for a little while would result in so many consequences.

"I'm quite alright," he said again in reaffirmation. "But... if we must..."

He turned to Antonio and looked for his response.

Antonio looked over at Roderich after being helped out of the elevator. He shrugged lightly as the firemen looked him over.

"If we have too. I don't see why but I guess if it's necessary" Antonio offered the firemen with a smile, slipping his hands into his pockets. He shrugged lightly once more and looked from Roderich to Kim and then lastly to Lenna before back to the firemen.

"Are we going to have to pay for the ambulance?" He asked, his smile fading lightly but not noticeably so.

Roderich agreed with Antonio. He really didn't feel the needs to for a check-up, but protocols were protocols.

"Then, I suppose we won't be having tea today," he said to Antonio. "I'm... deeply sorry for all the inconvenience, Antonio. My apologies for wasting your day."

He turned to Kim and said, "And to you as well."

With a heavy sigh, he trailed behind the firefighters. To Antonio's question, he thought for a moment and pinched his chin.

"I doubt that, but I will pay for it if it comes down to it."

As he was about to go with the firefighters, he suddenly remembered the carnations he had purchased for Antonio. They were still in the conference room.

"E-excuse me," he said, "there is something I must get."

"Oh don't apologize!" Antonio said quickly, raising his arms up palms out. "It was interesting to say the least" He laughed lightly, letting his hands fall to his sides once more. It had at least taken his mind of certain things and he could be distracted by the predicament at hand. He quickly fallowed after the firemen, his thumbs looping in his pockets.

"Don't worry. I'll split the bill at the very least" the spaniard wouldn't stand to let Roderich pay for the bill. He would feel horrible about it. When Roderich excused himself quickly, Antonio's eyes widened lightly and he tilted his head.

"O..k.." He raised an eyebrow as he watched Roderich go, continuing after the fireman but not letting him leave until Roderich got back.
