Roderich checked himself. Aside from being a little sweaty, he felt quite alright. Though the firefighters did insist that they go to the hospital for a check-up, as well, as psychological counseling. And they were already sending an ambulance here.
He didn't think being trapped in an elevator for a little while would result in so many consequences.
"I'm quite alright," he said again in reaffirmation. "But... if we must..."
He turned to Antonio and looked for his response.

"If we have too. I don't see why but I guess if it's necessary" Antonio offered the firemen with a smile, slipping his hands into his pockets. He shrugged lightly once more and looked from Roderich to Kim and then lastly to Lenna before back to the firemen.
"Are we going to have to pay for the ambulance?" He asked, his smile fading lightly but not noticeably so.

"Then, I suppose we won't be having tea today," he said to Antonio. "I'm... deeply sorry for all the inconvenience, Antonio. My apologies for wasting your day."
He turned to Kim and said, "And to you as well."
With a heavy sigh, he trailed behind the firefighters. To Antonio's question, he thought for a moment and pinched his chin.
"I doubt that, but I will pay for it if it comes down to it."
As he was about to go with the firefighters, he suddenly remembered the carnations he had purchased for Antonio. They were still in the conference room.
"E-excuse me," he said, "there is something I must get."

"Don't worry. I'll split the bill at the very least" the spaniard wouldn't stand to let Roderich pay for the bill. He would feel horrible about it. When Roderich excused himself quickly, Antonio's eyes widened lightly and he tilted his head.
"O..k.." He raised an eyebrow as he watched Roderich go, continuing after the fireman but not letting him leave until Roderich got back.

Her stomach growled. Loudly, and she blushed. She hadn't eaten much today, just the hot chocolate she bought from Alfred earlier this morning.

"Come with me," he said as he hurried away. "I must get something from the conference room and the food is there as well."
Without really waiting for him, he hurried down the stairs and headed for the conference room. The tea and the cakes were waiting, as well as the flowers he had gotten for Antonio.
Flowers, now he was having second thoughts. But he already bought him. And if he changed his mind about it, he could always pass them off for Lenna... though Kim was here, and she would know...
Oh well!

As they reached the room, she walked in right after him, and saw the cakes and tea. Seeing this, she felt only hungrier. But... Flowers? Who were they for?

Really? The firemen should have phoned ahead and told them that no one was hurt so they shouldn't have come up so flashy. When the men came over, asking who was injured, the firemen motioned to Antonio and said that the other person (Roderich) would be back momentarily. Antonio couldn't help but frown lightly as the medic strapped a band around his arm to take his pulse to make sure his blood pressure was ok.
"I'm fine really" Antonio said, flashing a smile at the workers. They wouldn't take that as an answer however and just continued working.

"Please have some," he said to her.
He put his hand next to the tea pot. It was still a little warm. He eyed the cakes; they were still good too. He nodded for Kim to take what she liked while he adjusted the flowers in his hands.
"I don't think the paramedics would mind if we have a little snack."

" You're good at baking." she said, looking at him after finishing the piece, and leaned back in the chair.

"Oh, no, I didn't bake them," he said, after taking a sip. "They are from the French bakery. They have wonderful pastry."
He took the liberty of pouring a cup for Kim as well. He left it next to her and sipped his tea quietly. Tea made him calm. Tea made everything better.

"If you'd like I could go and get him" He offered offhandedly, looking from official to official. When the man nodded at him, the spaniard rose from the back of the truck and headed inside. Thankfully, Antonio was very good at directions and could figure out which way the meeting room was. He came to the door within five minutes and raised his hand, knocking on the door politely before stuffing his hands in his pockets.

He perked up when someone knocked at the glass door. Since the walls of the conference room was see-through glass, he frowned a little at Antonio. He stood to let the Spaniard into the room, not quite knowing why he had knocked in the first place.
"Antonio, is everything alright?" he asked.
He stepped away and reached over the table. He picked up the flowers and headed back to Antonio.
"These are for you, by the way. I recall red carnations are the flowers of Spain?"

"a-ah y-y-yes they are. Do you know what t-t-the other meaning is?" He asked quickly and nervously, something very abnormal for the spaniard to be. He was almost positive that no one knew that he swayed towards the male side of the dating scene. Could it be possible that Roderich had figured this out and was attracted to him? Antonio shook his head lightly and managed to muscle his face back to its normal happy expression by the time he took the flowers from the other man.
He hadn't thought of Roderich in that way, his heart sort of belonged to someone else sorta.
