Romano had been half asleep on the bed for the best part of the day- had been. However he shot up in a second at the sound of Antonio's voice- confused, shocked and unadmittedly more than a little scared.
He'd never heard the Spaniard use that tone before..well, not to him anyway. The last time he had had been way back during the attack at Dos Llamas. That, plus the fact that he'd actually been called by his name for once..
The Italian immediately found himself fearing the worst.
Sighing, he pushed himself off the bed and walked into the main room. He was tired, headachey, and really didn't need this right now. "W-what do you want?"
Fuck, why did Antonio look so mad?

"What is this?" Antonio narrowed his eyes, turning his eyes back to the letter and pushing himself to a standing position. His free hand was clenched in a tight fist at his side and he was admittedly a little angry.
If what this letter said was true than the Italian had been lying to him for the past month or so. Now that Antonio thought about it, he had never been told why exactly Romano needed someplace to stay. The spaniard had just assumed there was a good reason and if he needed to be told than Lovi would tell him.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He said, his gaze falling to the ground. Rather than his voice being loud as someone normally was when they were angry, his was gentle but with that dangerous hint.
Simply put, the Spanish man felt betrayed and in order to hide that fact from the person who hurt him, he let himself be angry instead.

Antonio rose to a standing position and Romano instinctly took a step back, arm reaching out to take a firm grip of the door frame and steady himself.
His eyes were fixed, very cautiously, on Antonio's clenched fist. All confidence and reason had long left him, replaced with an unshakable conviction that he was going to strike him.
"I-It's.." Shit. That letter. He really was fucking terrible at putting stuff away, and now...now Antonio was going to kill him. There was no point trying to cover this up now..
"I...I didn't want to get you involved, dammit!" Romano was trembling now, clenching his own fists in an attempt to keep composure. A failing attempt.
"T-This doesn't concern you!" Even though he was yelling, there was little strength behind it. He was more scared than angry, but there was no way he was going to let Antonio know that. Well, not intentionally anyway.

"This doesn't concern me? Romano, I took you into my home and dejado le vivir conmigo cuando usted la necesitó sin hacer ningunas preguntas y éste es cómo usted me compensa?!*" Antonio was so furious that he reverted back to spanish. Something that he honestly hadn't done in since he had moved to this country. With each word he took a step closer to the Italian.
Then in one smooth motion he had Romano pinned to the wall, his hand around the Italian's neck and his feet off the ground.
"How can you treat me like this?" He asked through clenched teeth and narrowed eyes. "What do you have to say for yourself?" He demanded in a hissed tone. However, he managed to control himself ever so slightly and dropped the Italian unceremoniously. His fists clenched once more before he took a step back.
(Spanish: *let you live with me when you needed it without asking any questions and this is how you repay me?)

However, instead of giving in and asking if Romano really meant that he instead covered it with his anger. His free hand reached up and he rubbed his eyes harshly in an attempt to keep himself under control. Having Lovi see him cry would help nothing.
"Than you should have trusted me. Let me help you. Let me protect you" He said, letting his fist fall again and clench once more.
"Usted me ha traicionado romano y no sé si puedo perdonarle" Antonio whispered before turning and without another word heading out of the apartment without keys, a coat or any shoes other than flip flops in the middle of November.
(Spanish: you've betrayed me Romano and I don't know if I can forgive you)

So now she was just gonna get home, watch TV, eat some food and take a bath. At least that was her original plan, until she found a rather odd and interesting note, just lying on the floor. And being her curious self, she had to pick it up and read it.
" Mafia?" she whispered, staring at it. Was this some incredibly stupid joke? If it was, it was not funny. And where was Romano anyway? At work? Either he was at work, or at home sulking or moping as usual.
She crumbled the sheet of paper, and threw it on the table, before looking out the window, wondering when they'd get home. Oh yeah.... She was not satisfied.... Romano had some major explaining to do....

" If that note's a joke, it's not very funny." she said, and looked towards the bedroom, then at the floor.
Why didn't he say anything? Why didn't they ask? She sighed, wishing they had. At least that Toni had asked. Romano was his freaking friend.
" Ngu ngốc..." she muttered to herself. What she wanted mostly, was to give Romano a hard slap, or even a punch for not telling them. She had wanted to ask him why he suddenly needed a place to stay, why he looked beat up, but she'd figured it wasn't her business. But at least Toni could've asked.
" The next time we decide to take in one of your friends, ask them if they're in trouble first." she said, and came closer.
" The freaking mafia, Toni!" she hissed. " What if they find him here!" she added, keeping a low, but angry voice.
