I THOUGHT THE SUN ROSE IN YOUR EYES~ hwamei November 2 2009, 15:59:47 UTC
(ooc: It's perfectly fine, bb! ... This turned out longer than I expected it to, oops?)

There they were, in the middle of an empty pathway filled with cherry blossoms. The ground was speckled with sunlight that glistened in contrast to the shade the trees provided. The distance between the two people has grown smaller - she stood only a little more than an arm's length away from him. He was years her senior, there was no way she could approach him, but here she was now. This was the end of another school year, and Mei was a teenager in love.

"I-I've always liked Honda-senpai since the fourth grade. P-please accept my feelings!"

She gave him a deep bow, embarrassed at the words that just escaped her. What did he think of her now? Would he laugh? Would he reject her? No, Kiku only smiled, kind to her as always. Mei lifted her head just in time to watch him part his lips and say the words beep beep, beep beep!Mei groped for the alarm and hit the button with an open palm. She was up, she was up, geez. AND THE MOON AND THE STARS WERE THE GIFTS YOU GAVE~ willnicknameyou November 2 2009, 17:55:54 UTC
((Pfft, not oops, that was epic and I lol'd. |D))

Beautiful, even, his mind supplied helpfully ( ... )

TO THE DARK AND THE EMPTY SKIES, MY LOVE~ hwamei November 3 2009, 19:04:49 UTC
Tall? He had to look down to see her. Dark? She didn't judge; he was perfect. Handsome? Yes, yes and yes. Now, said man was looking her in the eye and talking to her. Sexy Spanish man was talking to her. All Mei wanted to do was run back in the tea shop, hide and pretend she was hiding from Natalia. She wasn't ready for this! No, she wasn't. She was probably never going to be ready in a million years. Relax, stay calm. She can do this. Okay ( ... )

Oh dear, not only was she beautiful, she was also incredibly adorable. He had to fight not to chuckle at her stammering - he didn't want to make her feel worse than she clearly already was. To say that the poor girl looked more terrified than a deer caught in headlights would have been an understatement. Even so, he couldn't quite keep the amusement out of his smile.

"You seem to be a little bit ahead of yourself," he teased gently.
