YOU BUMP INTO ME, BITCH? D< vicious_wolf September 21 2009, 15:52:01 UTC
The man stumbled forward slightly, and turned around, staring, or, glaring down at whoever bumped into him. That was so not cool.
He'd been out here for a while, so the darkness wasn't a big issue for him. He saw the shorter boy, and narrowed his eyes.

" 'S not nice bumping into people, kid." he said, with a rather threatening tone. His two buddies chuckled, looking at Zhi. One of them threw his cigarette away, stomping on it, and breathed against his face.
" We don't take lightly on rude kids." he said, smirking.

" Yeah.... Rude kids need to be disciplined." the one Zhi had bumped into, said, giving his chest a hard shove.

SORRY DIDN'T SEE YOU SINCE YOU LOOKED LIKE A BIG BLACK BLOB. firecracker_bao September 21 2009, 16:25:56 UTC
Zhi could hear the malice in the voices surrounding him, smell cigarette smoke on his face as the owner of the voice came too close for comfort, feel a horrible sinking dread inside of him, but he could see nothing but darkness and a few large, vague shapes. Coming in here was obviously a bad decision, he realised now, and he took a few unsteady steps backwards, feeling glass clink beneath his feet once more. The hard shove sent Zhi tumbling to the ground, and he let out a hiss of pain as he hit the floor and felt tiny glass shards digging into him like claws.

Slowly, he pulled himself to his feet, grazing his palms in the process, and stood up again, holding a hand to the now-bleeding arm he landed on.
"Look, it was an accident," he managed, trying to keep the fear out of his voice. He raised his arms cautiously, partially in self-defense in case of another blow, but really, what use was it when he couldn't see anything?

BIG BLACK BLOB OF FEAR AND TERROR vicious_wolf September 21 2009, 16:33:43 UTC
The two others chuckled again, and the one Zhi had bumped into, who was obviously the leader, took a step forward, glaring down at the Asian.
" Talking back too, huh?" he got a good grip on Zhi's collar, lifting him up easily by it.

" I don't like kids who talk back." he said, before giving him a hard punch, straight in the gut.

His two pals laughed. " Yeah, give the kid what he deserves." they cheered.
" First you come in where you're not supposed to be...." he said, smacking him in the face. " Then have the nerve to bump into me.... And now you talk back. Rude kid.." he muttered.

OH THE HORROR firecracker_bao September 21 2009, 16:55:21 UTC
Despite the fear that was beginning to kick in, Zhi managed to glare back at the man as he was raised off the ground- or at least, a cross between a glare and look of terror. He grabbed the man's arm in an attempt to make him let go, but that was stopped as the punch hit him in the stomach, leaving him winded and coughing painfully in his grasp.

His eyes caught sight of a dark shape, presumably the man's arm, pulling back, and he managed to raise his own to shield his face, deflecting the blow to his head. "L-let me go," he choked. "I just want to pass through here."

" It's better if you stay here for the night, yeah." Moon said, finishing his dumpling. " Get some rest, and I'll get you home tomorrow. And.... I think it's better if you don't go to school tomorrow either. It'll only make the pain worse." he said, sighing a bit.

" Where do you live, kid?" he then asked. He'd need to know to get him home safely the next day.

Zhi was all too aware of the irony of it all. He had wanted to get home to finish his assignments on time, but because of that he was now unable to go to school at all. Wordlessly, he finished the last of his dumpling and rolled over slightly to face the back of the couch. Might as well get as much rest as he could after all he had been through, he figured, and closed his eyes.

"The Charleston, apartment 4B," Zhi responded, without turning back to the man. Already he was trying to get to sleep, but the pain all over his body was making that rather difficult despite his valiant attempts to ignore it.

Charleston.... Apartment .....4B? Wait a bit.. Why did that sound familiar? He ran it through his head a couple of times, before it dawned on him.

That was the apartment number of...... No way. There was a vague memory of what had happened over a week ago. He'd been at the Charleston, getting Yao home. And he'd gotten a slight glimpse of the apartment number by the door.

" 4B...." he looked at Zhi, thinking for a second.

" You.... know Yao?" he suddenly asked. Didn't hurt asking, right?

Did he just say Yao? As in Wang Yao, his gege? The sound of the familiar name made Zhi open his eyes, and with some effort he managed to face the man again, avoiding putting any pressure on his ribs whatsoever.

"He's my older brother." Zhi looked up at him, curiosity in his big moe eyes. Through his fatigue something was ringing a bell in his mind, but all he could figure out was that it had something to do with 'Mongolian' and the oddly familiar appearance of the man. "Do you know him?"
