WHO: Zhi, thugs and AN HERO Moon
WHEN: Monday evening (21st September)
WHERE: Heritage Park
WHAT: Zhi learns the hard way that the park is not a place to visit at night.
RATING: B for blood, broken bones and cigarettes being shoved into cuts. Yeah.

The sky was already dark, Zhi noticed, as he stepped out of the apartment building and into the open air. A school project had been the reason behind several hours whiled away at his classmate's house together with his team. Thankfully, they had finished it in time for tomorrow, but at the expense of their other assignments. The night was still early, though, so there was still some time left to work on them. With that in mind Zhi set off at a brisk pace, hoping to get back home before it got too late or at least before his gege had a chance to scold him. There weren't many people out that evening, and the cool night air made it an actually rather enjoyable walk. Gradually, the small number of few people walking the streets had lessened to pretty much zero and Zhi realised that he was getting close to Heritage Park. He'd never actually been there before, though Yao had warned him about it when he first moved to The Charleston. Of course, just like when he was younger, he had always felt the urge to not listen to his brother.

Zhi came to a stop outside of the entrance to the park, peering in with a concealed curiosity about the place. It was too dark to see very far in, mostly due to the fact that more than half the lights in the place were broken. What little light there was revealed broken glass strewn on the ground and the edge of a rusty playground, the rest hidden by darkness. It didn't look too bad-- okay maybe it did- but still, it was either cutting straight through the park or going the long way around it, and at the moment Zhi was pressed for time. He glanced both ways, slipped his hands into his pockets and stepped in. Broken glass crunched underfoot as he began making his way to the other side. It was getting more and more dark as the number of broken lights increased towards the centre, and soon he found himself in near-pitch black. By now, Zhi would admit that he was actually feeling scared, straining to see into the darkness and surrounded on all sides by strange sounds. He tried to ignore them, but a loud nearby creak made him jump and he turned his head to try and see what it was. Just then, he stumbled over something and in his skittish state he failed to recover his feet. Instead of hitting the floor as he had expected, however, he felt the heavy impact of falling against another person.
