WHO: The van Peeters siblings + Remy WHEN: Thursday 21st July, about 7pm-ish WHERE: The Waffle House WHAT: Strange going ons or not, it's still Chloé's birthday.
The Dutchman rolled his eyes and kept walking. He wasn't violating his brother's self imposed radius on purpose, merely that he kept drifting back to walk with out of habit. Tucking his the envelope that contained half his present more thoroughly under his arm, he gestured with the other half towards the house in front of him.
"We're here anyway."
He mounted the stoop, and was reaching to ring the bell when he paused, head cocked as though listening to something.
"Do you hear that?" he asked, turning back to look at his brother.
"Good, you can answer then." He mumbled, placing his chin on top of the tins in an attempt to steady them. He didn't move to join him at first though, just encase Chloé chose that exact moment to reply. "No I can't hear that, I'm over here." he replied with a roll of his eyes before reluctantly moving closer to the door, pressing his ear against it to get a better listen. His eyes widened in surprise before standing up straight and looking at his brother. "Well, she did say her house was a waffle factory....maybe it was more factory than wethought?" he suggested before frowning.
"She won't hear us knocking over that....call her?"
In most situations Heike would of already had one of his phones out, calling Chloé. This time, however, he had a couple of tins in his hands and he wasn't about to put them down or hand them to Willem, that was probably asking for trouble. Thus, he looked up at his brother expectantly.
Willem started to assure his sister they hadn't been standing there long when the full sound of the factory hit him. Eye's widening, he took a cautious step inside and surveyed the machines and he was confronted with.

Setting the bottle down on the porch, he dug his cell out of his pocket telling her they were at her door.

"Sorry! How long have you been standing there?" she asked her brothers, feeling a little guilty. This factory really was so loud.
"Well, uh... You could come on in, if you don't mind being around machines. There are safe spots, I promise."
