It was 4:06 by the time she arrived, all dressed in black and a hood over her head. She brought along an ancient looking tome, which was held closely in her arms as if she was trying to hide it. The book had chains she locked herself, fearing it would get into the wrong hands.

When she entered and saw Valdi, she let out a sigh before walking over to the seat across from the boy. Nicoleta looked out the window to see if there were any princes chasing after her, for she had narrowly been able to escape this morning.

"So. Hello." Nicoleta then looked around. "Well this place is charming."

It was while he was hiding in the the corner of his bedroom, furthest away from the near constant chapping on his door, that Heike had stumbled across the Valdi's blog. While he wasn't sure about it being magic, there was something very strange going on in this city. His luck and jinxing of others when they got too near, his sister's waffle factory home (and Heike made a mental note that it was his sisters birthday tomorrow and that he would probably be best getting her something non-waffle for it) and that...thing Kai had which Heike sincerely hoped Kai had disposed of...somehow ( ... )

Nicoleta could have given him all the warning in the world and he still would have looked startled upon her arrival.
All in black this was not the same woman he had met so many months ago...she definitely wasn't kidding about the Black magic either.

Valdi had chosen a back booth for convenience sake, and now he was very glad he did.

"Nico! You actually came..." The first one, he added a little despondently, half prepared for it to just be him, her and her creepy chained up book.

"So does that have anything in it?" Valdi reached out to gesture to the old scripture, a motion that had him knocking over the glass of water beside his seat and perfectly soaking Nico's sleeve.

"Oh god I'm so sorry! I--" And then there was Heike. "Y-Yes it is. And you are?

Reason number one for attending the meeting: Valdi was his boyfriend. And whatever endeavors he embarked upon, whether they be sane, questionable, or insane in their nature he would support him whole-heartedly, just as the Icelander had done in similar ventures of his own ( ... )

Watching the glass spill, Heike bit his lip. He was too close to them but, glancing at the rest of the cafe once more, there was no way he could move any further back. Realizing he was being addressed, he nodded eagerly, "Thank goodness." he began before watching Kai join them, nodding his head at him, "Hmmm, jo...jo." he murmured, pulling out the new checkbook to go with the new bank account, filling all bar Kai's name out before awkwardly (how was the best way to handsomeone something when you're jinxing them?) handing it over, "For the numbers you gave me, like I promised."

The check was barely out of his grip when he quickly stepped back, only to move a bit close when someone behind him slipped on a wet patch that wasn't there before, "Heike...you'll get rid of my...luck, right?" he asked a bit desperately. Right now an imagine of Chloè's waffle home exploding while he arrived with her present was fling his mind.
