Reading quietly through Lili's notes and thoughts from yesterday, Toris sketched a few of his own ideas to add, not sure if it would work with what the other was working with but willing to give it his best since she asked. Deep in thought he didn't hear the first knock but he couldn't have missed the second unless he'd been deaf. Jumping, his pen slid across the paper leaving a long black mark and Toris frowned deeply, displeased at this interruption. Really, did Raivis need to come bother him now?

With a frustrated sigh he dropped his pen and made his way to the door, opening it he began to talk before he'd even seen the smaller man, "I know you run in a shady crowd but in polite society we don't yell at someone's do--"

Once he caught sight of the smaller man though, his sentence died off in a low gasp. Reaching forward after a moment he pulled back but then fought against his instinct and gently grabbed the other's arm before pulling him inside, "Raivis...what the hell happened?"

He encountered no resistance physically. The boy shuffled in when prompted, weight concentrating in the uneasy connection of Toris's grip. His eye lids fluttered, perilously low. "F-fight. No qu-questions. Just... Down. N-need t-to... down."

Knees quaking, he promptly attempted to follow them in their slow descent to the floor. Housed under a roof of one he was more than certain wouldn't thrust a dagger into his rib-cage, Raivis had no qualms in passing out unannounced. To a degree.

He was conscientious enough to add, faintly. "I'll... k-knock quieter n-next... time..."
