"I don't know, you could compare to that," he laughed, shaking his head and looking at the menu. "I could be glitterprince, and you'd be glitterqueen. Or perhaps just colourqueen, I'm not sure." He was tired, he was.

Looking out at the sunrise, he grinned. "Then you should see the sun set in Puerto Rico," he told her, looking back over at her. "That is a beautiful sunset. And yes, pancakes that I'm paying for."

He couldn't help but want to be gentlemanly, especially when buzzed from fatigue. "If it bothers you, you can pay for drinks."

"We can be king and queen if you desire, m'lady," he joked, grinning at the other and taking a sip of water. "Our titles are as real as we claim them to be! But then, someone would try to outdo us." He nodded, sure of that, and looked back out at the sunrise.

"I can accept that," Manny replied, flipping out a box of kiddy restaurant crayons and turning over the place mat, starting to draw Jo as she sat back. "Decide what you want, yet?" he asked, eyes darting from her to the paper.
