What: Two Awkward Turtle Awesome Bros have a heart-to-heart (or, quite possibly, a derp-to-derp) after work. Cheer up charms and bay-window Sunrises included.
He's gotta admit, it's been one hell of a long night.
But this morning, clad in his gear from last night, Emmanuel can't help but keep his promise to Johanna. He did say he'd take her out- for his own sake, because she was 'fine'- and...
They'd both had enough people flaking recently.
So they went to IHOP at Johanna's urging- and she didn't even let him take off his flashy pink vest.
"They are going to think I am the fruitiest Boriqueno on this side of Liberty," he told her, but didn't protest; rather, he wiped as much glitter from his face and black trousers as he could, and sat in front of her in the less-than crowded restaurant. Tapping the window as they were seated in a booth and looking out at the morning glow, he smiled at Johanna.
"Watch the window while we go."
