Having responded to Sindre's invitation to visit him in his home while he recovered from his time in the hospital, Kiku was still trying to recover from the fact that he had essentially confessed a long-term, deep seated affection for his best friend to the Norwegian over the internet. He had not intended to confess, honestly, but...Sindre was too good.
He hoped the topic would not come up again. At least not quickly.
"You seem to be feeling much better than when I last saw you," he observed.
