Elizaveta had just finished her grocery shopping, and was looking forward to going back to Chueca to play with her cat when she heard her name being called out in a familiarly endearing accent. She was about to greet her employee when her eyes widened as a ball swooshed right past him.
"Manny! Are you alright?" Walking down to the fence separating them, she smiled worriedly.
"I hope getting a concussion isn't part of your normal Sunday routine."

"A-ah, ehe, no, señorita," replied the slightly frazzled Puerto Rican, shrugging a bit embarrassedly. "Usually it's two," he joked, leaning against the fence to talk.
"Pero, I'm fine, comes with having a hard head," he continued, laughing a little, "Como estas? Is rare that I see you outside of Chueca."
Elizaveta laughed at his small joke, tilting her head. "Well, still. Be a little more careful, will you? You're my very important bartender!"
Shurgging, she ran her hand along the fencing. "I just finished grocery shopping, nothing too exciting." She looked around the batting cage, "Do you come here often?"

"Alright, alright, I'll make sure," he laughed, shrugging. "I come at least once a week. I always say I'm going to join the team but I'm usually busy with other things around try-out time."
"Pero, still, having pipe dreams like that is good for the health, at least. You do anything with sports?"
