Sindre felt his irritation start to grow as Marie, rather clearly, tried to play innocent. He didn't believe for a moment that she didn't know what he was here to talk about.
Nodding toward the back, he said, "Perhaps we should discuss this in private."
She trotted in the direction he nodded, glancing at him nervously. She brushed off shavings from the wood bench and looked around the room. She had never particularly been interested in this room, but now she was distracting herself. Most of it was tools, some mundane, some she couldn't possibly think of a use for, and some she didn't want think about. It was glowing. Not the chest, but whatever was inside it was sending bright blue light through the seems of the chest. BRIGHT blue.

Sindre couldn't help but feel a bit of satisfaction at the look he was getting from Marie. It seemed as if Marie understood the severity of what she had done before she had simply vanished.
