Ludwig was also early, though only by a couple of minutes as he checked his watch briefly on his way to the cafe. He walked briskly from his car to the door, gently pushing it open to the muted noises of a popular coffee shop. Most cafe's were closed this time of night, but Bean Me Up was a popular evening meeting place which often hosted live music in the form of a small-time local musician.

But tonight the shop was relatively quiet, a few patrons scattered here and there with their newspapers or friends, and Ludwig's eyes quickly searched through them for the pencil skirt and glasses his fellow administrator had informed him she would be wearing.

He found her without much difficulty, patiently ordering and receiving his drink before threading his way across the floor among the maze of tables and spindly chairs. Ludwig approached her with only a small sense of trepidation, choosing to focus instead on introductions.

Before sitting down, he offered his hand and his name, "Pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Ludwig Beilschmidt."

The combination of the chamomile tea and the warmth of the coffee shoppe was slowly causing the early night chill Veronika had encounter to ebb away.

Legs crossed beneath the small, round table, the Czech woman took to examining some of the framed pictures of original art lining the wall as she waited for her fellow administrator to arrive. This, however, did not last long as she was broken out of her thoughts by a hand being extended towards her. Eyes flickering upward, she caught sight of a...rather attractive blond introducing himself to her.

Her lips curled as she took his hand, slender fingers squeezing his hand amicably before pulling away. "Veronika Dvořáková. It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Beilschmidt." She nodded toward the chair across from her. "Sit, sit."
