Though the sun woke him, it wasn't until stumbling vaguely toward the bathroom failed to achieve results that Sindre blearily opened his eyes. Right. He had stayed over at Wilm's.

He really was getting too used to sleeping with other people, if the presence of an extra body hadn't immediately alerted him to that fact.

Quickly course correcting, Sindre took care of his business before heading into the kitchen. Time for some sustenance.

He located supplies fairly easily, but the final step proved daunting. He hated trying to figure out other people's coffeemakers.

Fortunately, Wilm picked that moment to enter. Good. Some help. "Morning," Sindre greeted. "How do you work this?"

Willem awoke to an empty bed and the sounds of someone puttering around his kitchen. Since this was an everyday occurrence now that Marcello was living with him, he nearly rolled over and went back to sleep before he remembered that Sindre had slept over the night before. Stretching, he rolled out of bed and joined the other man in the kitchen.

He returned Sindre’s greeting, then gestured for him to step aside so he could get the coffee machine started. His coffee maker was an old thing he’d picked up cheap from a neighbor back when he had just moved in to his first apartment back in Amsterdam. It could be finicky at times, but as long as it still worked he wasn’t going to replace it. When he got it started he opened the cabinet and began gathering things for breakfast.

Stepping back, Sindre leaned against the cupboard. He had no problem letting Wilm take control of preparing coffee. Letting his head tip back, Sindre's lids slid shut.

Only to blink back open as Wilm asked him a question. He was standing there with two cups of coffee, sugar and milk out before him. "Black," Sindre guessed in answer, taking one mug from him. He didn't quite need coffee to wake up in the morning, but it made the process far less arduous.

He was about to take a sip, but lowered the mug as a bit more manners returned to him. "How did you sleep?" he asked.

“Alright.”

He put some toast in the toaster to warm, and then put some cold cuts on a plate. The plate went on the table, along with some butter and honey. Putting some sugar in his cup, he took a drink, savored the hot caffeine, and then studied the Norwegian with a bit of a smirk.

“Although not as good as you, I think.”
