It had been a normal Friday night for the two of them, with good company, a six pack of beer, and an episode of Merlin. However, since Sindre had expressed an interest to try the Dutch gin Willem had mentioned, the night contained a bit more alcohol than usual. Neither was drunk, but both were tired enough that Sindre accepted his friend’s offer to spend the night. Willem’s borrowed shirt was once again pressed into service as sleep wear, and they called it a night.
In the early hours of the next morning, Willem slipped out of bed and headed for the bathroom. When he returned, he found that the Norwegian was sleepily reaching for the comforter, which he had apparently flung over to the side Willem had occupied. The Dutchman picked up the cover and tossed it half over the other man, who pulled it more fully over himself.
And mumbled “Thank you Søren” as he settled back down to sleep.
Willem simply starred for a few seconds, and then chuckled to himself as he settled back under his own covers. He was definitely going to mention this in the morning. >
