WHO: Toris and Yao with a dash of Zhì WHEN: Wednesday Afternoon, December One. WHERE: Charleston Apartments WHAT: A typical Yao-meets-bear story you wouldn't want to miss.
I'm curious to how you got that to your apartment, it's hugetoris_toriDecember 2 2010, 16:30:53 UTC
Heading home after a long day at work, he was tired, slightly hungry and just ready for the day to be over, then he came to his door to find it ajar and felt himself become more than a little frustrated at the fact. Pushing it open he looked around to see what had happened, and strangely enough....nothing seemed out of place. There was no mess, his wallet was with him so they couldn't have taken that, and truly he didn't have anything worth stealing that wasn't already on him (phone, MP3, money, wallet).
Looking around for a bit he wondered what in the world they could've taken when he saw that the giant bear was missing and blinked a few times in confusion, then he shut the door with a bemused smile playing on his face.
I just have to butt in and say that the idea of Yao stealing a bear that's probably bigger than him is SO AMUSING. <3 You two win the internet. /teleports out
It's a matter of luck, and inner strength, aru.icarryapandaDecember 11 2010, 21:17:48 UTC
Getting the bear up one floor wasn't much of a problem. He went for the elevator, left the shovel behind, placed the bear on a recliner, left his apartment and went down for the snow shovel. A systematic approach for getting what he wanted.
Funny thing though, is that when Yao was hanging his coat on the rack, he stared at the bear; stared at its big black eyes, looking down at the floor with the head bowing down. Like it was making Yao feel sorry for himself that he took it without permission (either way was bad), the perfectly rounded face making the look convincing.. Shaking the thought out of his head, Yao disappeared to get blankets and covered the stuffed toy with the larger(est?) sheet. Yao used the other blanket to wrap himself and sat on a chair facing the bear.

And it was just then that Zhi decided to come home.
Neither wind nor snow had deterred him from making his journey to the International Asian Mart and back, and now his loot, namely a stil-warm char siew bao, was held between his teeth as he shook the snow off his coat and fiddled with the keys to the door. Upon swinging it open, he was greeted by quite the strange sight- his brother wrapped in a blanket and perched on a chair, staring at a large, suspiciously shaped object under yet another blanket. For a moment Zhi stopped to stare, blinking before taking the bao from his mouth and approaching Yao somewhat cautiously.
“哥哥 what are you doing.” He turned to eye the mysterious covered thing seated opposite his brother, half expecting it to move any moment. “And what is this.”

Suddenly the break-in didn't seem that bad.

Curse his impulsive temptations.
