Bigbro, you're so cree-...sweet <3puffin_magicNovember 11 2010, 12:26:15 UTC
Thankfully, Valdi had been able to sleep that night. With all the mentions of weird dreams and people acting strangely, let alone the chance meeting with Raivis, Toris and Zhi that couldn't possibly have just been a coincidence

I just wanted to watch you sleep, broth--oh god I sound like Nataliatalks_to_nisseNovember 12 2010, 01:47:44 UTC
At the sound of Valdi's voice, Sindre's head shot up. He winced the slightest bit as he met Valdi's eyes. The last thing he had wanted to do was wake his brother up.
He knew coming in was stupid. He knew Valdi was fine, that it had all been a dream and there was nothing to worry about. And now his fear and irrationality had dragged his brother into the aftermath his nightmare undeservedly. Not to mention that he probably just seemed creepy, staring at Valdi in the dark.
Shaking his head, Sindre pushed himself up from where he'd slumped against the wall. "It's nothing, I'm fine," he responded, trying to downplay his presence in Valdi's room. "I didn't mean to wake you. Go back to sleep."
He stayed against the wall for just a moment longer. But if everything were indeed fine, then he'd have no reason to still be in the room. He had to force himself to leave, to let Valdi out of his sight, but he did manage to move away from the wall and towards the door.

This, this was all too familiar. It was a routine they had played out every day for the past year; and they held to their parts so well that the rest was almost always predictable.
Almost. "You're not fine, are you?" Valdi spoke before he had time to register what he was doing, watching Sindre with a kind a determination that was foreign even to him.
A moment for his mind to catch up and the boy recoiled slightly, evidently unsure of himself, but he swallowed and pressed on. It was now or never.
"If everything was fine then you'd be asleep now, you wouldn't come home beaten up, You-" He swallowed again. He hadn't meant to accuse Sindre, hadn't intended for the outburst at all. Valdi knew it wasn't like him and it wasn't fair for his brother but, frustration overpowered common norm.
He took another moment to try and relax himself. Breathe. "Why," Why is this so awkward? "Why won't you tell me anything?"
So, there were alternate endings for this, sorry it took so long ^^;talks_to_nisseNovember 18 2010, 14:20:48 UTC
Freezing in the doorway, Sindre turned back to Valdi at his brother's question. Forcing a pleasantly neutral cast to his face, he tried to regain better outward control. "I am fine," he began to lie, keeping his voice as soothing as he could so he could try and extricate himself from the bedroom. But Valdi's next question caused his current line of thought to vanish
