[Arthur's reappearance only vaguely registers in his head, as half-heartedly he watches the warm scene, contrasting so much with the conditions its audience is in, solely for the clue. When the scroll is brought up to the screen, he starts slightly, a flash of recognition in his eyes. A much easier clue than the first; though for a moment he dreads what should happen should it be picked apart and over-analysed, much as the ones before had.

The video ends and Zhi manages his way up the stairs with everyone else, still feeling dazed in the aftermath of his accusations, and with one eye still throbbing, the skin around it dark and bruised. He hesitates, recalling the ominous words regarding what each of the three doors may bring, but there's nothing to lose. After all, if it isn't him it would be his brother standing decisively at the door instead, but Zhi deserves- much more- whatever misfortune it may deal out.

And so, holding his breath, he raises a hand to door 20.]

[the room is bare save for a small note which reads the follow:

Usually, for this punishment, the next poll you and your partner would have no votes. However, your partner found the double-voting room. This punishment door and his prize door therefore cancel each other out.

You will both only have one vote next poll, as per usual.]

She didn't watch the video as soon as Arthur appeared, too much for her to watch one sibling in safety while two more were trapped here with her. Even when her brother was obscured by the scroll and it's clue, she didn't look up, listening to the two voices instead ( ... )

[the smell of must and mould hits your nose. You look around the rubble and insulation dripping from the roof.

This is not the clue room.]

Rory wasn't sure if she should be relieved or disappointed at the lack of anything, useful or not. She was about to leave the room when a bit of rubble caught her eye. A piece of broken piping from something, the jagged edge sharp enough to defend herself if it came down to that but small enough that she could hide it in her back jean pocket and under her coat so no one would have to know about it.

Except Ivan of course.

Bending down to tie her laces (impressive when they were slip ons) she quickly picked up and hid the bit of pipe before heading out of the room.

Twenty. He knew the first figure by heart. And so does Zhi, which made said brother dash for the twentieth door and wait for what sort of clue lied behind the door ( ... )

[the door swings open and you step inside, the room flickering with a strange light as the door slowly shuts behind you. The lock turns.

You have found the clue room. A PM detailing information will be sent to you.]

One would bring misfortune?

What else would they have to suffer through that was worse than this? Lucy didn't wait for her partner, hurrying up the stares and down the halls- her fight or flight response stuck somewhere in between where she felt like she just wanted to punch something and run from it at the same time. Her body was trembling, her eyes tearing.

Did she even want to find the clue? Loto had found it- had been so amazing at figuring it out but now...

Now he was dead. And she had watched him die.

The slight wretch she felt building in her gut was pushed down as she hurried to a door- the same one she had picked before so she at least knew what it did contain- those red, read curtains... filling the room with a bone chilling colour.

Door 28

[Perhaps the red curtains would've been better than what you find this time. There is red but it is small, concentrated spots. Two, staring right up at you. Loto's body is in this room. Waxy, pale and those two crimson eyes staring soulessly up at you.

You stand there in shock, swallowed and in that moment, the door slams shut and locked with a solid "click".

This is not the clue room.]

Lucy didn't do anything at first, she couldn't- not with the image of Loto burnt into her retinas. She stared at the door, unable to move and feeling her legs quickly losing strength. Her knees buckled, sending her down to the cold, hard floor and collapsing against the door. Her arms just barely supported her against the door and her back started to hitch, shaking more and more violently as the sobs started again.

Why Loto? Innocent- sweet- little Loto-

She couldn't bring herself to yell anymore, the world moving around her a blur, wholey and completely unimportant. This was it, they were all going to die- She'd never see Dewi again, she'd never understand why Alfred did this.

It was over.

He barely listened to the video or glanced at the clue was given, what did it matter? Raivis was dead, he might as well be be too. His anger and betrayal rolled off him in waves, making the atmosphere in the group practically unbearable. And however bad he must be, Peter had to be probably ten times worse. He glanced at the smaller boy a felt his heart twist in his chest and he rubbed at his tears with the palm of his hand. His anger was still there, his denial that this had even happened. But he knew it had. And his anger was not reserved for just Zhi, after all...the black haired boy wasn't the only one who voted against the pair ( ... )
