Hun you might want to try and fix those tags ^w^;;;the_all_goddessSeptember 20 2010, 07:55:09 UTC
Today, despite having just properly started, was not going too well. A call had come in from work far before dawn and Nafretiri had rushed into the office at 3am to fix a desk full of stupid mistakes regarding the cataloging of the items she'd brought with her to display.
And now it was later in the morning, the time she'd been planning to wake up originally, and she was just getting out of the cab from work. Her revised schedule was already being mentally planned out. A nice cup of tea, a shower, and a long cat nap to catch up on missing beauty sleep.
Then that schedule was thrown out the window when she saw a rather familiar face on the condo steps. Nap later, greet her 'nephew' and invite him up now.
"Herakles!" She grinned and rushed over to him, heels clicking on the concrete. She tapped in the code for the door without looking, manicured nails clicking on the buttons. "It has been a while, please, come on up. Have you been waiting long?"
Finally fixed them! Thanks. ^^;platomycatSeptember 20 2010, 10:29:22 UTC
Herakles was about ready to fall asleep when he heard his name being called out by a familiar voice. He lazily glanced up and towards the owners’ voice. Ah, one of the people he had been hoping to see. The Greek was quick to get on his feet as he followed his Aunt into the building.
“Aunt Nafretiri.” He greeted warmly; a small smile crossing his face. “It hasn’t been too long.” Herakles wasn’t actually too sure how long he had been waiting but it had given him some time to think so for him it hadn’t been that long.
“I hope you don’t mind that I’ve come over at such an odd hour.” He spoke up. “I just really needed some company.” Aunt Nafretiri always understood though. It was something he never really had to worry about. She just knew, it was a gift she and his mother shared. Perhaps women's tuition? But who really knew? It could have easily been wisdome that comes with age.
Sorry for being late! :3bornofisisSeptember 20 2010, 12:49:52 UTC
As the door swung open, Gupta greeted them inside, although 'greeting' could be used lightly. He was clearly rumpled from sleep and was still dressed in a massive T-shirt and boxers that he no doubt fell asleep in. Anubis, meanwhile, was so used to Herakles's presence that he didn't even bother look up from where he was happily munching away in his food bowl.
Blinking twice, Gupta rubbed at one eye as if to make sure he wasn't dreaming himself and immediately looked wide awake. "What happened?" he asked his mother in Arabic, alarmed, then immediately turned to Herakles and switched to English. "What happened? Are you alright?"

Nafretiri waved the concern off as she lead the way to the condo, setting her coat and purse inside the hall closet. "He was waiting outside, I do not know. Perhaps the dream?" She lead Herakles and Gupta to the new couch, motioning for them to sit and brushing a good morning kiss across her son's forehead.
