What: After a lovely stunt as barman, Sadiq broke a glass, cut his hand, and was told to GTFO.

Sadiq turned his head as two knocks echoed against the walls of his small room. It wasn't soft and feminine like he was expecting, but it's always hard to tell gender by how a person knocks on the door. As such, he wasn't too concerned until he found himself being greeted instead by a rather unfeminine nurse. In fact, the nurse was quite manly. Sadiq inwardly groaned; girls were sweet and forgiving, but guys were all about judging your shit. He hadn't prepared for a guy in those scrubs.

Of course, all of his opinions on judgment were based on how he himself acted. Unconsciously, Sadiq folded his arms in his lap so that the bloodied one was obscured. He had unwittingly shifted into a more defensive demeanor.

Wait. He blinked at the mention of stitches, taking the word in and digesting it, letting it sit until it made it's impact. Sadiq wasn't afraid of a little poking and prodding in no way, nor did he have a low pain tolerance. However, being hurt was one thing, but sitting there and taking it was another. The gash hadn't seemed so ( ... )

Sadiq was sizing Olivier up. It wasn't that he was looking to see if the guy would be able to grab him if he decided to get the fuck out for whatever reason. He was actually more or less trying to get a grasp on the guy's character, since he didn't find the last few statements to be something a nurse would say to their patient, normally. Instead of getting flustered, however, Sadiq was more or less... impressed. He couldn't find any suitable argument against that flat tone, so subtly laced with distaste.

All it took for the Turk to accept someone was some honesty and a nice kick in the rear.

Feeling much less defensive, Sadiq loosened his tense limbs, slouching forward and leaving his palm face-up for the nurse to tend. He knitted his brows together - no one looks forward to these types of things, but some were better at hiding it. Resigned, he didn't really care now.

He trusted Olivier to get the job done without lallygagging; a word he usually associated with the male species of nurses. It was as if they all felt the need to ( ... )
