What was that annoying little buzzing at the back of her brain? Kim heard this.... And where was she anyway? This position was so not a good sleeping position. Her neck was sorta hurting, and her head felt like it was gonna burst...
"Nnnn..." she groaned again, hearing that buzzing again... Was it a very presistent bee? Or her phone? Her eyes opened slowly, realizing it wasn't even morning yet. Why the hell should she wake up then?
"Ow...." she muttered, feeling her brain pound against her skull. At least it felt like that. What had happened again? Oh right.... Ali came over, and they played this game, involving alcohol. She did something...
Just now her eyes could actually focus, and she looked straight up at a familiar face.
"Hello to you, too." The harsh sarcasm in Antonio's voice was more sobering than a bucket of ice-cold water. He rocked back onto his heels and quirked his eyebrow at her expectantly.
Apparently that wasn't a clear enough question for her, because she was still staring at him dazedly like a deer caught in the headlights. He gave her a few seconds to gather her surroundings before prompting impatiently, "You mind telling me what the hell happened here?"
=n= IT WAS ALI D8lotusviviAugust 14 2010, 22:31:29 UTC
"Uhmm..." Kim had to admit, Toni wasn't exactly his cheerful self. Right now he was flat out scary. Maybe it was the lack of light that gave his face a creepier appearance...
Of course, the truth was the best, right? "Ali came over..." she said, feeling like a little girl who'd just been caught by her parents getting an F.
"With some drinks... And...." Man, she was feeling... incredibly helpless.
That cute icon won't work on me.menudo_tomateAugust 14 2010, 22:50:50 UTC
Ali. Antonio turned slightly to give her a withering look, but it obviously had little effect on unconscious people. Still, it was the thought that counted.
He'd talk to her later.
"Okay..." He took another breath and exhaled shakily. "Okay." I can deal with this, I can deal with- A sudden bout of howling outside caught his attention and he turned on Kim again, his eyebrows furrowed in concern.
Antonio felt like a parent, putting Kim to bed like some kind of toddler, but he really didn't trust her taking two steps down the hall without falling over. He waited until she had crawled into bed before pulling the covers up over her shoulders-a force of habit that came with having younger siblings-and flicked off the lights.
One down. He leaned against the door with a heavy sigh and rubbed his temples, trying to figure out what he had to do take care of next. Two to go. The task seemed daunting and for a second he honestly considered crawling into his own bed and passing out.
But that wouldn't be very nice, would it? He snorted and sluggishly made his way back downstairs. Ali was still where he left her, a small stream of drool soaking into her sleeve. He couldn't muster the energy to even chuckle about it.
"Ali. Wake up." No response. He repeated himself a bit louder, careful not to wake their 'second guest', and nudged her in the side with his shoe. (The same one that he used for the toilet? ...of course not.)
I do not approve of your use of shoe :|bel_chocolateAugust 15 2010, 04:01:33 UTC
Feeling something push against her middle in a more forceful wake up than she wanted, Ali frowned a bit in sleep before blinking and trying to get the blurriness out of her vision. When she finally was able to do so she glanced up and was met with an almost unwelcome site. Almost because well Toni was a good a friend of hers....but he also didn't look exactly happy.
An unhappy Toni was never a good Toni, but she tried to not let that little detail deter her too much.
She smiled up at the ruffled Spaniard, only getting a deep frown in return but simply stood up (or tried slipped a little before finally getting up there) wincing at a headache, but that was only to be expected. She hadn't been wasted last night, per se, cause she wanted to make sure the two girls didn't go out and do something stupid (she'd been there) or illegal (also been there), so she'd managed to stay somewhat lucid last night...even if she did end up sleeping on a pizza box...and what was that on her sleeve

Antonio, blunt as ever, ignored the casual pleasantries and got straight to the point. He sat down on the sofa and patted the spot next to him for Ali to sit down. She did look a bit unsteady after all.
"Kim said you were the one that brought the alcohol over." He gestured towards the beer cans on the coffee table with a quirked brow. The expression on his face was far from amused. "Is that true?" He knew it most likely was-he was her friend, not an idiot, of course he knew her lifestyle-but he'd like to see for himself before making any accusations.
You're Kimmy's papa~ Not mine :3bel_chocolateAugust 15 2010, 04:31:09 UTC
Taking the invitation to sit, though she sat a little ways away from Toni...safety reasons shrugging and trying to figure out exactly where her ribbon had disappeared to, her hair falling in her face in that annoying way that the ribbon would usually prevent.
"Well yeah. Course I did" she glanced at Remy still lying on the floor and resisted the urge to giggle at the site, poor kid, at least she held her drink a bit better than Kimmy. Out of the three of them, Kimmy probably would come to regret her actions this night more than anyone.
On the bright side she had figured out about that boy that the Asian girl had denied about.
Then zis is the end. It was a pleasure working with you all. v___vmenudo_tomateAugust 17 2010, 04:23:42 UTC
"De nada," Antonio replied dismissively. That was what friends were for, right?
The car ride was uneventful at the least, and extremely awkward at most. The radio had been flipped on to fill the empty silence, both of them being too tired (or possibly just reluctant) to discuss the matter further.
It wasn't until Ali had been escorted to her door step and had her keys returned that Antonio realized he had no way of getting home other than walking. He checked his phone and swallowed back a very colorful Spanish swear-Cago en el copón de la baraja!.
It was three am in the morning. He had work in the afternoon.
