Hermaphorite? XD binilao_aru July 14 2010, 04:42:42 UTC
Yao knew that drinking bottles of rice wine was a nasty habit when he began doubting his sexual orientation. The only results of that were a blinding headache and having to drink a nasty cup of tea that was disgusting, even by Chinese herbal standards. Not to mention having to deal with a brother whose only facial expressions could express something akin to apathy when asking personal questions. However, there was one thing the alcohol could not cure, and it was driving Yao up the walls.

There was absolutely no way he was in love with someone of the same gender.

He tried calling himself delusional and desperate to the point of going past the point of no return until it dawned on him that maybe he was mentally deteriorating into nothing. Zhi had to drag him with his heels grinding into the floor before he could get Yao away from the phone that would be calling the local mental hospital. In the end, he had to tell Zhi, and the two swore secrecy from their parents. Who knew what they would have done if they found out their eldest son ( ... )

Yao is still a woman in his eyes~ not_whales July 14 2010, 05:17:27 UTC
He watched bitterly, albiet reluctantly, as the reflection of the sunset bled from orange to a scarlet blush. His eyebrows furrowed deep, wrinkled around a thought as he gazed at his sunset-laden reflection in the mysterious greenish-yellow liquid.

He caught the wandering silhouette of the plump waitress with the jade robes, and swore for a second that she was escorting-- No, no, it is your eyes playing tricks on you! Surely this was not the mysterious orient with the hair black as coal and eyes as sweet as dark chocolate ( ... )

Yet his wrath will be worse than that of a woman scorned. binilao_aru July 14 2010, 16:49:06 UTC
Thankful for the tea that would distract him from his thoughts, Yao was about to proceed with his usual ritual tea drinking until a shadow fell upon him. It was one thing to distract him from his thoughts, but when he was distracted from his tea... he glanced upwards, ready to chastise whoever was looming above him when his eyes widened with recognition.

His luck really was out to get him, he concluded.

天啊,我应该说什麻?! Yao opted to clear his throat before asking in the most polite way one could do when faced with the possible love of his life, "Can I help you?"

J-just don't break anything. Especially the tea sets. not_whales July 15 2010, 01:00:38 UTC
The question came to him so quickly that he hadn't the time to prepare. He tossed a glance to the side, as if someone would be standing there in thick-rimmed glasses, tearing at the script, to remind him what the next line was. There was no such man, only the short plump waitress in the jade robes serving piping hot tea to an elderly couple. All the world may be a stage, and he may simply be a poor player strutting and fretting his hour upon it, but this hour was something of such anticipated importance, that he felt as if every eye in the restaurant lay upon him and his oriental mistress - waiting, waiting for Romeo to climb the ivy up to the balcony and--

--"Forgive me, my fair lady, but I could not help but notice your radiance from across the room."
