Tripping over the final step on the stair case Luciano let out a loud yelp stumbling over his feet for a moment. Gaining he balance again he glanced back eyeing the stairs. Using the elevator would have been smart but honestly where was the adventure in that? On his way up he was able to catch glimpses of other tenants and the other floors, so it was worth the exercise ( ... )

Emiliana smiled as she finished unloading one of the many boxes she had brought up. Her closet was slowly getting filled up, which in turn meant that her unpacking was going smoothly. However, she paused in opening her third box of belongings as she heard the apartment door being opened. Straightening up, she dusted off the front of her jeans just as she heard the distinct sound of a box being dropped on the floor. Judging by those two noises, it appeared that Luciano had arrived.

Ola! Anybody home?" Oh yeah, he was here.

Sighing, Emiliana decided to take a break from unpacking to greet her roommate. Stepping over and around the piles of boxes that currently littered her bedroom floor, she made her way out and into the living room.

...only to find Luciano struggling to stand up.

He probably took the stairs. That idiot.

Luciano gave a nervous laugh as he supported himself on the wall. Looking up he found his room mate staring down at him. Staring back Luciano tilted his head with a warm smile. “Oh, Emi! You’re here already,” he breathed causually. “What time did you get here? Oh! Did you see the view? Its incredible!” he continued feeling the pain in his back begin to sweep downward to his legs.

“Ai… though I advise you take the elevator,” he laughed, forcefully propping his body up. Arching his back some he grit his teeth. “The stairs are cursed…” he joked though from the face Emilina was giving him he could tell he was no comidean.

Raising an eyebrow, Emiliana starred at her roommate, taking in his crouched position and pained expression. Oh, Luciano. Only he, and any other moron, would opt to take the stairs up five floors while carrying a heavy box for the sake of experience. Heaving another sigh, she extended her hand towards him, offering some help getting up. "I got here about an hour ago," she replied before frowning in confusion. "And what incredible view? The only thing I can see from our windows is a brick wall. Estabas tomando, o que?"

Luciano took Emiliana’s hand, “Obrigado!” he breathed in relief. Standing upright now the pain was beginning to fade, though the pulse surging through his sore mucles was still strong. “And no I was not drunk,” he sighed, but getting drunk didn’t seem like a bad idea. A few shots of some tequila and he’d be up and dancing on the coffee table. But then again… dancing on the coffee table would result in Emi tossing him out the window. Or some sort of violent punishement. Maybe a few tylenol would suffice.

Luciano nodded his head, shaking the thought of Emi murdering him out of his mind. He glanced to the woman again giving a chuckle. “When I say view I mean people look like ants from up here!” he replied aware of the conversation at hand. Luciano gave another whimper of pain before taking a strained seat on the nearst chair. “Hey we have any Tequi- I mean Tylenol?” he asked correcting himself.

'I don't think we're up that high,' Emiliana thought as she pulled her hand back and away from Luciano. The apartment building seemed big, but she doubted that anyone on the ground below would resemble an ant in the slightest. Ah well, Luciano was an odd one, so there was no point in trying to correct him.

As much as she would have enjoyed to inwardly bitch and moan to herself about her annoying roommate, she had to stop her inner-tirade as soon as she heard his whimper of pain and request for Tylenol.

Only him, only him.

Bringing her hands up, she gently pushed him towards the old recliner. "Here. I have some painkillers in one of my bags, so just sit down and rest while I go look for 'em." she said before rushing back to her room.
