WHO: Emiliana, Luciano, y Marcio.
WHEN: August 8th, mid-morning.
WHERE: The Charleston, fifth floor.
WHAT: It's finally time for Luci and Emi to move in together. However, what seemed like an easy move is about to get a bit more...complicated.
Jingling the room key in her left hand, Emiliana adjusted the heavy duffel bag hanging from her right shoulder as she nudged a somewhat large cardboard box forward with her foot. It was finally Saturday. It was finally time for her and Luciano to move in together and spend the next twelve months with one another, locked inside those four walls with only each other's company. Though, there was also a good chance that they would hardly see one another, as Luciano often worked night shifts at Chueco while she herself worked during the day. Maybe then, there'd be less conflict. Maybe.
Pushing the cardboard box next to the wall in front of her, she shifted to open the door, keys smacking against one another and jingling loudly. Ack.
Her heavy furniture had already been moved in a day in advance (thanks to Luciano), so she only had to struggle with bringing up the rest of her belongings. Luckily, though, she was down to her last box and bag, so she'd be able to unpack and settle in as soon as she managed to open the door.
With an audible click, Emiliana smiled triumphantly as she pushed the door open. Shoving the heavy, cardboard box inside, she made her way through the entryway. Closing the door behind her, she allowed herself a quick glance around the living room, taking in the worn yet still comfortable recliner Luciano had dug up.
Smiling slightly, Emiliana began to push the box forward and to her bedroom.
