Moving the ball from his knee to his chest, Luciano grinned happily as he was left to his own thoughts, if only for a moment. From his chest to his head he bounced the ball a few times before back to his foot. "That's more like it," he assured himself. Now feeling satisfied that the ball was under control and in complete submission to him, the Brazilian leaned back and eyed the goal once more. However this time he let a slight grin grace his lips. Stretching his right leg back again there was a twinkle of confidence in his eye. "vamos!" he urged the ball, kicking it again. A blur of black and white whirled through the air. Brown eyes remained glued and reaching the goal he winced
( ... )
Luciano blinked. Was this woman for real? Was she seriously handing him her jacket. She was tiny. How exactly was he supposed to slip into this? He held up the jacket but his eyes followed his bouncing ball that was getting further and further away. A slight pout returned to his lips and he tilted his head at the woman. She was cute, but not exactly an instant charmer. Short hair framed her face while her thin frame was enough to make heads turn. However Luciano couldn't help but notice that from afar she could pass for a male. And her dominant attitude didn't help save her femininity either. "Uhm... Miss, I'm not acting dumb," he said but it fell on deaf ears.
He still blinked at her. "Uhm...Miss man?" he said getting her attention now. "Uhm...thank you for your concern, but I don't think this will fit me," he chuckled nervously. "And besides... I didn't forget my shirt, I always practice this way," he nodded.
Raising his hands in for protection he winced. He felt the murderous intent she was giving off and took a step back. Another nervous laugh escaped him and he cleared his throat trying not to sound too shaken up by her tone. "N-now that you mention it, what it your name Miss man," he said not realizing that he was already near death with that nick name. However once Luciano branded a nick name, it was hard to be rid of it.
"I'm Luciano by the way," he added as to try and sugar coat things though he doubted she would take it. Looking around he gave a low sigh and looked back at the woman sweetly. "Uhm... Miss Man... I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to "Cover up" with," he said gently. "I didn't exactly bring a shirt with me," he admitted. After all he thought being shirtless wasn't on the list of Unacceptable things in California. He only looked down at her stern face innocently.
Luciano felt hell freeze over and he could only smile nervously. Was she serious? All this rage and hate over a lacking shirt? He had to find that a bit amusing but he was sure if he pushed his luck then he would be hurt. Badly. "Im Hak Soo," he repeated to reassure her. Somehow I think Miss man suits her more. He though with a raised brow.
"Hm? Well I always practice this way...," he said looking down at his chest where she tapped it. He hissed slightly feeling the sting of where the ball had hit him earlier. But he kept a friendly smile. "Uhm... they live in Brazil," he said answering her next question. "My parents, I mean," he added realizing that his parents were the target of her letter. "And I'm sorry if I was rude, Miss Ma-I mean Hak Soo, I didn't mean to be," Luciano's face apologetic as he handed her, her jacket back.
The Brazilian looked down at her with a still nervous smile. Why did he have the feeling that her last statement was an order and not a suggestion? A moment of silence passed over them and brown eyes drew to the side in search for his ball. "Uhm...I'll be sure to do that, though I left my wallet at home," he thought out loud. "Oh well," he muttered under his breath still looking for the ball.
Looking back to Hak Soo he tilted his head. Somehow he felt as if she had a strong urge to do something about things. However Luciano was sure that there was nothing wrong with his being shirtless. No one ever complained before. Especially women.
