WHAT: One day, the young and beautiful Meihime is on her way home when she is ambushed by the evil Bandit Chief! Luckily, a noble and strong samurai saves the day!

(among other things) gardening implements. Specifically, they'd had a sale on pruning saws, which was something Berwald had realized he would need once he finally found the time to work on that jungle of a garden of his.
Suddenly, as he was passing a shaded side alley, there was a shrill scream. Berwald's long steps faltered, and he stood there for a moment, before determining to inspect the noise. Thus, he stepped into the mouth of the alley, squinting to see in the gloom after the brighter street. To an observer standing in the alley, he would have been a tall, dark figure delienated by the light behind his back. This hypothetical observer might have also been struck by the sight of the long saw in his hand, although Berwald himself hadn't even realized he was holding it.
"Oy, what's cha doing?" Berwald asked forbbingly when he spotted Bandit Chief, standing over a scared looking young woman.

Mei held on, hoping that once the man had gotten enough pictures, he would leave her alone. In the middle of another flash sequence, a low voice barked out through the darkness. Mei lowered her hands and looked to the street. A dark silhouette figure stood. A vigilante? A superhero?
Whoever it was, the man was... so... sexy. Ohmygod. This is just like what happens in the movies.Bandit Chief backed up, hiding the camera behind him. He shook his head and tried to play innocent ( ... )

"Ahum..." He harrumphed, discomfited by the sight of the strange girl's tears. After scanning her over quickly to see there was no sign of serious physical damage (he was relieved to find there was none), Berwald decided he'd rather deal with the assailant first.
That decided, he pushed her aside gently, and stepped towards the unpleasant looking man.
"Saw that camera, gimme it. Now." Berwald said in his most threatening growl, holding his hand out and hoping he wouldn't need to use actual violence. Bandit Chief hesitated, but after Berwald glared at him some more, he ( ... )
