It wasn't as if he was expecting anyone to visit though he was waiting on that rice cooker Yong had been genius enough to lend to Kiku, nor was he expecting a package of any sort. So much for a day off...
"Who is it?" Yao asked as he opened the door.
And proceeded to have someone fall on top of him.
"What are you doing!? Get off me this instant-" he began, infuriated at the fact that someone had the nerve to lean on his door when he suddenly recognized that mop of hair and the suitcase near the front door. "Zhi?" he managed to get out, "是你吗,弟弟?”

Oh, so 哥哥 had just opened the door. It took Zhi a few moments for his sleep-addled mind to realise that he was a few centimetres away from smushing his brother into the floor. Quickly, he shifted sideways and leaned against the wall once more, freeing his brother from a fate of certain crushedness.
"No, 是你的姐姐。" Zhi managed to pull himself back up, using the door frame for support. There was a faint hint of a smile behind his expression as he looked at his brother, before he busied himself with grabbing his suitcase and dragging it in through the doorway. "哥哥老得 his 弟弟也不能 recognise 了呀?"

Really, he'd never understand where Zhi got his sense of humor from...
"可以跟你的哥哥这样讲话吗?" he joked, while watching Zhi attempt to carry the suitcase into the apartment as he swayed side to side. Shaking his head, laughing, Yao grabbed the suitcase from him and carried it to his little brother's room, entering the room that hadn't been occupied for quite some time now. “哈哈,好笑。我也没有那么老。“
There was one thing concerning him, however.
"志,父母知道你回来了吗?" The reason for the question being that he had received a hysterical phone call from said parents the day before, wondering if he knew where 弟弟 disappeared to. Of course, that only meant that Yao would have to call their parents and tell them that he was okay...
...and then possibly have to listen to the rant of his mother for not yet having a girlfriend. Wonderful.

Guiltily, his eyes flicked around the room before looking down. "啊, um..." He ran a hand through his hair and looked down, feeling bad. "...没有。" Knowing his parents, they wouldn't have let him leave if they knew, but as a result of him they probably had more than a few new white hairs and stress lines. Though there was always the slight possibility that they had simply written him off as a good riddance, considering his childhood antics and all...
