Well, the first day back to work wasn't too bad. I had a few jobs that I didn't get to before the holiday break---but now they are done and at least off in the "Inter Office Mail" for proofing.

I worked a little on my drawing yesterday....

Scarf Exchange???? raspberryfruggy January 4 2007, 17:15:02 UTC
Wow! What a great idea! Let's ALL do it - we can complete our scarves over the next year and exchange them (by drawing or something) next Christmas!!!!!

Well, I think it's a great idea. Who is in? I can keep track (yeah, right - okay, I can TRY to keep track) of whoever wants to join in and then we can do some sort of drawing or something next November so that everyone knows who will be getting their scarf!

Yay, a project!!!

Who's in? email me: prplmooseATkenaiwriterDOTnet.
you know what to do with that, right?

I'll do it - I've gotta learn to knit, so 10 months ought to give me plenty of time, right? ;)

The hair-raising experiment... anonymous January 4 2007, 02:28:59 UTC
That recipe makes me a bit hungry for a salad. Let's hope you don't grow that mustache and beard!

I always want to buy yarn too and I have never even knitted. I collect beads, and never make jewelry. It's the hunting and gathering instinct. Survival of the fittest!

Loving your painting. Your detail is so amazing. Have a great night.

Hi Debi! Now that I re-read that Hair Potion recipe ---it DOES sound like a salad dressing! Kinda smells like it too, with that apple cider in it.

Okay - bead lady . . . ;-) you can make a beaded scarf! In fact, Jenn, this is for you, too. The other day someone donated (to the clients where I work) polar fleece scarves with self fringed ends that had beads threaded onto the fringe. Very cute - easily done, I would think. ;-)

too much fun - anyone else????

Hi!
I've been meaning to write but I've been so busy. Lori, I love your photo of you. You are beautiful and inspiring.
I think it's this weather we're having that makes everyone get into yarn and knitting and crocheting. I'm making a throw blanket but right now it's a wide and long scarf.
How big is your newest drawing? It looks huge!
Cheers!

Thanks Anna!
I agree I think the weather has a lot to do with wanting to knit and cook etc. My newest drawing is 22" x 30"
