Work Change up

In a couple months I get to do my job from home. I am 1 of 7 people chosen (out of hundreds) for a pilot program. I won't be going back to the office except for meetings. Ever. This reality hasn't hit me yet. I've been going to the same building for 25 years. I'm curious as to how my perspective will change.

excellent! dealing with the distractions is the hard bit i've found. it's easy to spend 10 hours doing 8 billable hours of work.

The smaller spare room with two windows will be converted into my office.
Since this is a pilot program I won't have to worry about keeping busy. A lot of note taking and online meetings.

My constant need to Lean out processes got me on this pilot. Its not a trait you see in tenured employees. It surprised the interviewers.

They don't know me, they don't know how much I hate BS. (-;
