When I was surfing through Best Buy's catalog yesterday, there were a few complete collection blue-rays for a good price that caught my attention. Contrary to popular belief, my anime resume isn't exactly the best around, so I picked off a few anime I've heard of and felt I should have already watched. Baccano is FANTASTIC, and definitely worth that price, especially if you like FMA.

Baccano is the only one I've really seen on that list (I've seen bits and pieces of Eureka 7), but it was fantastic so I'd definitely recommend picking it up. (That's a really lovely price for the complete series too.)

Don't buy the Tsubasa anime. It's horribly animated, it have poor deviations from the manga plot, and is generally regarded as a piece of crap from the fandom. The JP voice acting is good and the music is excellent, but it's not worth 40 bucks.

However, Baccano, Eureka 7 and Samurai 7 are all excellent.

Okay, good. Tsubasa was one of the ones I was most interested on the list (partially since you guys talked about it so much in chat heh), so it was the one I was most likely going to pick up first if any at all. I'm a fool of a man who likes CLAMP but hasn't watched/read enough of their stuff, but I'll take your word for it and just read the manga when I have time.
