When I was surfing through Best Buy's catalog yesterday, there were a few complete collection blue-rays for a good price that caught my attention. Contrary to popular belief, my anime resume isn't exactly the best around, so I picked off a few anime I've heard of and felt I should have already watched. I'd definitely recommend Baccano! and Golden Boy. Golden Boy has a ton of fanservice, but it makes up for it by being absolutely hilarious and it's probably the funniest anime I've seen.

Familiar of Zero and Eureka 7.

Also on blue-ray not on your list but at best buy - Full Metal Panic, if you already haven't seen it. Old, but still good to this day. From season 1, to Fumoffu, to 2nd Raid. All quality stuff. (If you've seen it all already, then uh.. nevermind.

Hmm? Is it all three FMP series that are on one blu-ray? Or is it just the first series?

But damn, you bring up some old memories. The only one of the three I've actually watched was Fumoffu, and that was way back when I first started getting into anime. I'm pretty sure I never actually finished it, but I remember enjoying it very much, and I've always wanted to try the original at that point too.

Maybe now is a good time to get into it.
