Because Andy Burnham was really *really* listening to Debbie Abrahams speaking to the BBC in OES, and they made such a cute couple: Andy/Debbie, whatever you like.

I think *really* listening is his thing, though. I don't think I've ever seen a politician who seems to care so much about every single word that anyone ever says in their presence as much as Andy does.

I just watched this and OMG NEED LIKE OXYGEN. I wish a man would look at me like that!

Considering they were desperate to know what she'd do after she went home (call Ed Miliband she said) I'd love to see her going home with Andy, having hot passionate yummy sex and then being all post-coital in bed with Andy and phoning Ed Miliband at 4am and waking him up with Andy still kissing her all over while shes on the phone. YUM.

Oogh getting abit carried away here, but seriously...they had potential chemistry...this could be a new regular fandom as its good enough to be.

I was watching it thinking how unbelievably interested he seemed to be in her. He was smiling and properly staring at her with his "exactly, exactly."
May I say, anon above, that is one seriously hot image, especially if EMil kind of cottons on to what's happening.

Did anyone see poor Sadiq being slaughtered before the result? Why did you steal DCam's line, Sadiq? Why?!

But mainly just the hot sex ;)
They are both just so PRETTY.!!

Anyone else noticed Andy being on the news more and more recently. I think they just send him cos hes pretty and has that GORGEOUS accent!

Basically they were tearing into Sadiq about the recession and how Labour was to blame but they didn't really let him answer any questions without saying he was wrong (fair enough, considering they're obviously going to fight the case of the government against the opposition). But it was a shame because he kept trying to start his reply and they'd be like "NO, NO, LARGEST DEFICIT OF THE G20, OVERSPENDING, BABY-KILLERS etc."
And then just before the results he said "we're just at base camp, we've got a high mountain to climb," or something along those lines which is exactly what DCam said when he was announced Leader of the Conservatives.

Not to start a minirant, the alternative to running a deficit would have been far worse. Plus the current gov supported Lab's spending right up until 2009. Just sayin'.

It was just the BBC's coverage of the by-election. It's on BBC iPlayer as 'BBC News Special' on BBC1 in the little 'Yesterday' section at 12:20AM (way to be specific :|).

I know, I'm a Labour!anon and was like "you didn't say that at the time, meanies!" ... Plus, how could anybody ever possibly be mean to Sadiq of all people?
