She picked up a respiratory virus while she was at the vet for her cancer surgery; at first she seemed to be recovering quite well from both the surgery and the virus, but then it turned into a secondary bacterial infection and the poor kitty was just *drowning* in putrid snot. So we put her on antibiotics, and once again she started recovering ( Read more... )

She's repressing, which is generally what she likes to do with strong emotions. I told her what was going on, and she said, "Well at least we have other cats," very flatly, and then she left the room.

If we have to put Willow to sleep, Chuckles will probably act like nothing happened, and then a month later she'll start obliquely referring to her thoughts & feelings on the subject, maybe.

I'm so sorry to hear about Willow's downturn. Hopefully she'll eat and begin to recover.
