This is so many kinds of wonderful!

I love that you take into consideration that not every picture/screencap is the same, and that different tweaks and methods have to be used to get the desired effect.

This gives one the launchpad, but allows the maker's individuality to shine. Fabulous!

Wow THANK YOU! That is EXACTLY what I was going for, the "launchpad" approach!! :D

It just really amazes me that people can post tutorials about 1 kind of coloring when coloring is something sooooooooooooo unique to each icon!

and we agree in some things about the coloring and sharpening the icons!

I'm not comfortable using Selective Coloring, Levels and Color Balance, thanks so much for this. I've always wondered how you make your icons be so brilliantly colorful, yet alive.

I hope you get to have more time doing tutorials such as this.
