Is it a 24 hour 7 days a week staffed house? That could really suck if people called out, 'cause the policy in my company is that the manager has to cover the shifts if no one else could.
What kind of training do you have to take in order to work with them? I had to take CPR, First Aid, Crisis Management (basically legalized restraints) and a bunch of other company-specific trainings.

being a manager, if someone calls out too much...i'll fire them. :D

but really, covering a shift or two really wouldn't be a big deal, just because once i'm on salary, i'll mainly just be popping in, going over logs, taking care of whatever needs to be taken care of. i won't have a set amount of hours.
either way, i think it'll look great on my resume.

sooo that means in the span of a year you:
a. became self-sufficient
b. got a job
c. enrolled in school
d. started looking at potential careers
now i know that i don't actually know you, but i take pride in that - you should be SOO proud/happy.
